Tips for Just Listed Postcards

When a real estate agent lists a home for sale, a Just Listed postcard is a great way to share this listing with the rest of the neighborhood. Here are a few of our top tips for sending Just Listed Postcards

Use High-Quality Images (headshot, listing photos, etc.)

No matter how beautiful your postcard design is, poor-resolution photos will damper the professionalism of your postcards. The higher resolution (300 dpi minimum) of the images, the better.

In addition to choosing high-quality images, select the best 3-4 listing photos, with the best image being the largest photo on the postcard. These steps will maximize the visibility of your just listed postcards.

Include a client testimonial

Client testimonials are a great way to showcase your past successes as a Realtor. In fact, 89 percent of consumers read reviews before making a purchase. This is especially true of real estate, where transactions are in the 6- or 7-figures; prospects will want to work with an agent they can trust.

Ideally, the client testimonial you include on your real estate postcards will be a client you recently worked with in the area. If they are a prominent person in your community (e.g. PTA board member, Chamber of Commerce member, etc.), even better! Include these types of client testimonials on all postcards including just listed postcards, just sold postcards, market update postcards, and automated seller valuation postcards.

Be Specific with your Mailing List

As tempting as it may be to send your postcards to the largest potential audience or through EDDM, biggest is not always best. The key to mailing postcards is to mail them to subdivisions in the area of your listing; people who have a vested interest in the listing price and market conditions in their neighborhood.
